Sweet
& Sour Cucumbers
Fresh
cucumbers (see note below recipe)
1
small onion, sliced thin
Salt
& Pepper
Sugar
– (about 1 teaspoon)
Vinegar
Pare
and slice cucumbers quite thinly.
Add
the onion, salt, pepper, and sugar.
Cover
with vinegar.
Refrigerate
for at least 15 minutes before serving.
NOTE:
I have also made this recipe, using fresh Zucchini instead of
cucumbers.
All the other ingredients and the instructions are the same.
