APPLE
& HONEY BREAD PUDDING
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter for greasing
- 2 cups nondairy creamer.
- 5 large eggs
- 1¼ cup sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 5 cups diced (1/2-inch) challah
- 2 cups diced sweet apples, peeled and cored
- Honey to drizzle
Directions
- Preheat an oven to 350° F.
- Grease a 9- x 13-inch baking pan with the margarine.
- Prepare a custard by whisking together nondairy creamer, eggs, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl.
- Add challah and apples; mix well.
- Let sit for 10 minutes to allow challah to absorb egg mixture.
- Place the challah mixture into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden.
- Drizzle honey over the
top and serve.
